About Us
The Pakistan Association for Eastern Medicine (PAEM) was established with the vision to promote, safeguard, and systematize Eastern Medicine (Tibb-e-Unani, Ayurveda, and other traditional systems) in Pakistan. It serves as the national representative body of Hakims, scholars, and researchers in Eastern Medicine.
- In 1968, Hakim Mohammed Said established the “Society for the Promotion of Eastern Medicine”, a platform through which he regularly brought together Hakims from across the nation.
- Following his Shahadat in 1998, a condolence seminar was held in Lahore, where a large gathering of Hakims assembled. On this occasion, Ms. Sadia Rashid and Hakim Abdul Hannan formally announced the establishment of the Pakistan Association of Eastern Medicine (PAEM).
- Since then, the Association has continued its journey, actively organizing its functions and setting future directions for the promotion of Eastern Medicine.
Reviving the wisdom of Eastern Medicine for a healthier tomorrow.
The Pakistan Association for Eastern Medicine (PAEM) is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional healing systems. We bridge the gap between ancient wisdom and modern healthcare research. Our goal is to create a healthier society through education, collaboration, and innovation.
